Join our client, a parts manufacturer in the Aerospace industry as a Quality Engineer. You'll be an intregal part of the team by ensuring parts meet specifications and dimensions. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering in aerospace or milling, turning, and lathes. Must have experience with inspection equipiment including standarized gaging.

responsibilities:
- Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), create control plans, and manage First Article Inspections (FAI) to validate new production processes.
- Ensure the facility maintains adherence to stringent standards like AS9100 through continuous Quality Management System (QMS) execution and regular internal/customer audits
- Investigate non-conforming parts or processes using methodologies like Six-Sigma or Lean to identify root causes and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Verify part integrity through precision measurement techniques, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) programming
