Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Manage healthcare credentialing files, validate provider data, execute primary source verifications, and support provider enrollment and payer maintenance workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, audit, and maintain confidential provider credentialing files and documentation.
- Conduct primary source verification and monitor provider expirables to ensure compliance.
- Assist with provider enrollment applications, document collection, and payer follow-up.
- Manage shared departmental inboxes, resolving documentation issues and workflow delays.
- Support data cleanup initiatives, payer maintenance, and credentialing reporting.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, or healthcare operations.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and provider data or credentialing databases.
- strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience with Railroad Medicare or California Children's Services enrollment.
