    job summary: Description: As a Core Equipment Engineering (CEE) Center Engineer you will review Capacity Creation Requests (CCR) from various Planning organizations and create and issue Telephone Equipment Orders (TEO) for the Engineering, Furnish, and Installation of Central Office Equipment. The responsibilities of a Center Engineer include, but are not limited to: - Analysis of CCRs for scope of job and nature of work. - Issuing Requests for Quote to Vendors for Engineering and Installation services. - Reviewing and properly ordering major material as required to fulfill the scope of the CCR. - Monitor, Manage, Supplement if required, and Close VSAP Financial Projects. - Work closely with Field Engineers, Network Installation, Purchasing, and Vendors to ensure all equipment is properly ordered. - Monitor TEOs for Invoice issues and payment disputes. - Review and process Change Orders as required. - Track Material for various jobs as needed. Candidates should have the ability to work well as an individual; within a group; and with other partner organizations.
