The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial activities. This is a proactive, high-visibility hybrid role that blends strategic financial planning with hands-on accounting for a professional who thrives on the delivery of high-quality financial processes, insights and advice, solving problems and continuous improvement. This role includes managing the monthly close, annual budgeting and financial planning and analysis processes, contract management, and leading annual audit support. Manage the fixed asset ledger, including depreciation validation and asset disposals. Ensure compliance with PCSB and DCPS; prepare quarterly/annual financial and budget reports. Coordinate IRS Form 990, 1099s, and DC-specific tax filings. Oversee contract management and adherence to financial provisions. Audit, Reporting & Supervision Lead annual audit support, coordinating with external auditors for all required documentation. Supervise grant financial proposals and federal reimbursement requests. Manage AP, AR, and FP&A functions; train personnel on financial best practices.
