We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor (preffered chinese/english speaking) to lead a import and export warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has a background in freight forwarding, outstanding leadership skills, and a deep commitment to safety, efficiency, and compliance. This role is critical to ensuring the timely and accurate handling of all inbound and outbound international shipmentsKey Responsibilities 1. Operations and Efficiency-Direct and supervise all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, sorting, picking, packing, staging, and loading of LCL/FCL, air, and ocean freight shipments. Manage the flow of import and export cargo to meet strict delivery and departure deadlines. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and coordination with the Operations/Customs brokerage teams. Implement and maintain best practices for optimal space utilization and operational efficiency. 2. Compliance and Documentation-Ensure all warehouse procedures comply with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, TSA/Indirect Air Carrier (IAC) security requirements, and other relevant local and international trade laws. Oversee the accurate preparation and handling of essential freight documentation (e.g., bills of lading, airway bills, manifests, delivery orders). Conduct regular audits of inventory, damaged goods, and documentation to maintain high standards of accuracy and accountability. Lead, train, mentor, and motivate a team of warehouse associates and equipment operators. Manage daily staffing, scheduling, and labor allocation to meet volume demands. Champion a robust safety culture, ensuring adherence to all company and OSHA safety protocols. Conduct daily safety briefings and regular equipment inspections. Handle employee performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions as needed. Qualifications-Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution environment. Required experience in Freight Forwarding (Import/Export) is essential. knowledge of air and ocean freight cargo handling, including consolidation and deconsolidation processes. salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Logistics Operations Management: Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and managing the entire e-commerce logistics operations, including order processing, warehouse management, distribution, and transportation. Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate closely with procurement, warehousing, transportation, and other related departments to ensure coordination and efficient flow of processes. Transportation Arrangements: Coordinate with logistics partners, devise transportation plans, ensure timely order deliveries, and track the status of shipments when necessary. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, ensure adequate stock while avoiding excessive inventory holdings. Cost Control: Optimize logistics processes, reduce operational costs while maintaining high-quality logistics services. Team Management: Lead and guide the logistics team, ensuring efficient team performance, and provide necessary training and support. Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze logistics-related reports, such as on-time delivery rates, inventory turnover, cost analysis, and report logistics operational performance to higher management.
