We're looking for an experienced professional to manage our accounting team and financial operations. In this role, you will be a key leader, guiding a team of five direct reports: two Accounts Payable specialists, two Accounts Receivable specialists, and a Staff Accountant. A primary responsibility will be overseeing all AIA billing for the company, and candidates with prior experience in this area as well as familiarzation with ASC606 are highly preferred.salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities Manage and mentor the accounting team, overseeing their day-to-day operations and professional development. Oversee and perform the accurate and timely monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is complete and compliant. Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and various ad hoc financial analyses. Conduct and approve journal entries for key areas, including inventory, intercompany transactions, cash, and fixed assets. Prepare and oversee accruals for installs, freight, commissions, and sales taxes. Manage the entire audit process, from preparation of year-end schedules and reports to coordinating with external auditors. Evaluate, develop, and implement new accounting processes and systems to optimize efficiency, such as cash management and expense report review. Review project profitability reports and update cost estimates in the ERP system. Forecast daily cash requirements and make financing decisions to optimize cash flow. Prepare and distribute monthly commission reports. Maintain and update the Chart of Accounts, as well as subsidiary fixed asset and equipment ledgers.
