Mid-sized DC nonprofit association is hiring a skilled Human Resources Specialist with prior recruitment, professional development, learning, and ADP HRIS experience. In this dual-focus position, you will balance essential HR functions with project work. As the primary point of contact for recruitment, you will manage LinkedIn presence and LinkedIn Learnings, lead resume reviews, and ensure a seamless candidate experience. Internally, you will maintain HR files within ADP and crafting engaging organizational communications, including our staff newsletters and all-hands meeting logistics. Reporting the the HR Director, this person is creative and able to offer new approaches and solutions to current processes. This will be a hybrid role - 2/3 days in the downtown DC office. Candidate Screening: Review resumes for alignment with core competencies and conduct initial culture-fit screenings. HR Operations & Administration HRIS Management: Maintain impeccable data integrity within ADP, ensuring all employee records, profile updates, and reporting are current. Internal Comms: Design and distribute the monthly staff newsletter; coordinate all-staff meetings and logistics. Digital Filing: Manage the secure transition and maintenance of digital personnel files, ensuring compliance and easy retrieval. Culture & Engagement Engagement Surveys: Facilitate the annual and mid-year Gallup engagement surveys; assist in pulling data and preparing presentations for leadership. Staff Connection: Act as the primary "concierge" for staff inquiries regarding policy, scheduling, and general HR support. Workforce & Professional Development Learning Management: Oversee the LinkedIn Learning platform, curated paths for staff, and tracking completion rates. Vendor Management: Research, vet, and hire external trainers and vendors for specialized workshops. Conference & Certification Support: Coordinate workforce development logistics for members, including conference registrations and tracking professional certifications.
