Position is in-office every day. Coordinate and implement plant-wide HR programs and policies that align with the overall company and plant goals. Engage with managers, supervisors, and plant employees daily to help resolve issues, improve communication and engage in conflict resolution. Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions. Works closely with management and employees to ensure proper utilization of payroll and timekeeping systems including assisting with timecards, employee punches, work schedules, training, time off requests, troubleshooting errors, payroll, etc. Conduct new employee orientation programs to instill a positive attitude toward company goals. Collaborate with the management team to identify employee development needs and allocate necessary resources. Develop, identify, and/or deliver training programs on a variety of topics throughout the facility. Serve as the project lead for all employee functions, including plant communication meetings/events and celebrations such as birthdays, awards, recognition, and incentives. Stay updated on legal requirements and government reporting regulations that impact HR functions. Ensure policies, procedures, and reporting practices are compliant. Lead the performance management and appraisal process, ensuring its consistency and fairness across the plant.
